Visit Hopsjøbrygga
To Hopsjøen you can either take a boat and dock at the pier - or - if you want a little exercise, it is only 3 km on foot along a nice stretch of sea from Sjøklart -plot area. Here you can enjoy a better meal at restaurant Landstrykeren.
Trout fishing and swimming
A 15-minute walk from the property area, you will find Aunavatnet, where all cabins have fishing rights as the landowner also owns the rights here.
The water has two fine-grained, shallow sandy beaches for swimming and playing.
The surrounding nature offers a rich diversity of plants - both in the winter months when the snow often fails and otherwise - like here, where the photos were taken in February and show a light layer of ice on the water and frozen heather.

There are many great hiking experiences on marked and prepared trails, the trip to Margrethes Minde is definitely one to recommend.

We also have additional services such as propane, tipping, home delivery of goods, key storage, non-prescription medicine sales, fishing and hunting license sales, fishing equipment, flowers and local food in the form of meat and fish. The Melandsjø convenience store is happy to have various events and the store is located in a village with a good volunteer spirit.
The village's own convenience store is open every day of the year from 06:00 - 24:00 when you need to shop.
Dolmsundet Hotel
On the way to Sjøklart area you pass Dolmsundet Hotell, which offers both experiences and food. If you need a place to offer accommodation for your guests, the hotel is definitely recommended.
